Accreditation is a fundamental part of our developing practice service. You need to be confident that any education or training you are undertaking meets your requirements and those of the service you are developing.

Initially we will signpost you to the education providers across the profession, but our longer term aim is to have an accessible and comprehensive 'library' of professional education available to all pharmacists.

We are building up this 'library' in partnership with the Specialist Groups. We are also working with our partners to develop a robust and reliable method of recognising the standard of education, training and support materials. We will make sure that the standards developed are relevant and appropriate.

RPS Accreditation

As part of this work, we are now offering a new Accreditation service.

RPS Accreditation involves peer review by specialists with the relevant clinical, managerial and/or educational expertise and experience. Any events, courses and materials accredited by us, will meet our high standards for quality, promote best practice and provide effective resources to enable pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to develop their practice and improve patient care.
